AFTER I nearly killed us moving the seat forward in Victor's car, WHILE driving and on the phone, I picked Gator up off the passenger floor board, dusted him off and decided a Sonic Tea was in order! Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh until I put my Lee Press-on Nails THROUGH the cup and spilled Route-44 Tea all over, and I do mean, ALL OVER the car and us!! Yes, by then I was off the phone.............. I think??
I was thinkin maybe we should just call it a day, when we just got another tea, and headed to Sterling's game. We found a front row parking spot, got our camera out, leash on Gator and made our way to the fields. Gator is a popular puppy. We always have to stop every 2-3 feet so everyone can ooooohhhhh and ahhhhh about him. Too stinkin cute that boy! Any who, one of the other little team guys befriended us and showed me to Sterling's game. While walking over I noticed, my flip flops were sloshin in the mud. WHEN did it rain for God's sake??? By the time Amber flagged me down, my feet were disgusting - oh well hell, a little mud never hurt anybody huh?
Sterling's game was exciting - when I was ASKED TO LEAVE because I had my dog with me, the team was winning thanks to Sterling's last pass for a touchdown! YAY Sterling!
No worries, rules are rules, and apparently there was a sign that said No Pets. I picked Gator up and we headed to the car.
I'm turning out to be a good Pet Parent. Water, water bowl, dog food & treats, check! I got Gator his water and we headed to find Hammy's game.
The coast looked clear, so instead of the leash, I just carried ol' Gator over to see Hammy. Those guys were too damn cute, I tell ya.....................Hamm told me it was "lots of fun!" lol
Next Gator and I headed to the new H.E.B. in Katy, where he is "welcome as long as he stays in the grocery cart". It takes longer than normal to get through the store, because again, everyone has to stop and pet him, ask what kinda dog he is, etc., etc.
We make our way towards the end when I stumble upon a HOT PINK 2" Binder that Shannon has been wanting. Problem was it was WAY up on a top top top shelf. I'm still with 200+ stitches, with strict instructions NOT to reach over my shoulders, so I ask a man in the next aisle if I "could possibly trouble him to help me reach something?" - his reply "uhhhh no, I don't work here, I work somewhere, but not here". I think I was so friggin STUNNED that a man would say that to a lady, that I know I just walked off. When I get pissed off I cry! STUPID, but I do. I just started BALLING and called Victor, who of course told me to shake it off - when the Redneck appears "uhh I can help you get that if you still need me to?" - I said "oh don't worry about it, I got sir!" and all the while I was screaming in my head "ASS HOLE!" That was IT, I was done with Saturday - so we headed home and took a much needed nap................PEOPLE never cease to amaze me......................
Cute. I showed Hammy that he was on the blog and he asked if it was out for the whole world to see...I said "well, yes." Then he said "COOL!"
ReplyDeletePS - I cry too when i get mad!
